Worcester Bosch Conventional Boilers

Choosing the right size Worcester Bosch boiler for your home

When it comes to choosing a new boiler, there are a lot of decisions to be made. From choosing Where to position the new boiler, to researching which rating is the most important, finding and installing a new boiler can be a challenge. However, choosing the right size boiler is a fairly easy decision, once you know the rules. Here at Mark Vernon Heating and Plumbing we are Worcester Bosch boiler installation experts. As a result we have produced this guide to choosing the right size Worcester Bosch boiler for your home.

How many people will your boiler be serving?

The first thing to consider is the amount of people that will need access to heating and hot water in your property. Two showers a day uses much less hot water than four. As a result, if you live in a large family home you may need a larger boiler to provide more hot water at a time.

How large is your house?

The second thing to bear in mind when it comes to choosing the right size Worcester Bosch boiler for your home is the size of your house. This is because a larger house may well have multiple bathrooms, and will definitely have more radiators. The more radiators there are in a property the larger the boiler will need to be.

Right size guide

Worcester bosch boilers can be split into three sizes.

24-27kw- this size boiler is great for flats and small homes with less than 10 radiators and only one bathroom.

28-34kw- this size boiler is perfect for a larger home with 3-4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and up to 15 radiators.

35-42kw- Perfect for very large homes and hotels with multiple bathrooms and more than 20 radiators.
